Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Verizon) ClockworkMod Custom Recovery Install Tutorial
- Download the ClockworkMod Custom Recovery for your Samsung Galaxy Note 2. You will also have to choose between the normal and the touch version of the custom recovery. The touch version can be controlled via the touchscreen, in the normal version the volume buttons and power-button will be used to navigate
- Download and install the usb-drivers for your Samsung Galaxy Note 2
- Download and start ODIN
- Shut off your Samsung Galaxy Note 2
- Now we need to start into the download mode. Power on your device while pressing the keys Volume Down“ + „Home“-Button until you see yellow text
- Connect your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with the PC using the usb-cable
- One of the ID:COM fields should now jump to yellow indicating that your phone was found bei ODIN
- Click on the „PDA“-Button and select the previously downloaded *.tar.md5 file
- Make sure that under „Option“ the Checkboxes for „Auto Reboot“ and „F.Rest Time“ are checked
- To start flashing simply click on the „Start“-Button
- The installation should start now. Your device should reboot after the installation and the ClockworkMod should be installed on your device
